A multi-disciplinary architecture, engineering and construction firm, with several offices in the Gulf region, are recruiting for their office in RIYADH, SAUDI ARABIA. The company work on a variety of project typologies and currently have several high rise commercial and mixed-use tower schemes that are just going to site phase.
They require the following staff:-
• Senior Structural Engineer (Team Leader)
10-15 years experience. Structural design experience in large projects and towers. High capability in modeling and design using ETABS, SAFE and SAP. Knowledge and ability to use International Standards (ACI 318, ASCE-05. IBE-06, AISC, BS8110, BS5950. Should have experience in large international projects. Be computer literate (in relevant engineering Microsoft software, word, excel etc.).Have good English report writing capabilities. Be familiar with international standards (BS, American Standards, etc.).
• Senior Structural Engineer
Minimum 10 years experience, some of which would prerably have been gained in the Middle East. A thorough knowledge of structural systems and materials, and extensive experience in analysis and design of building structural frames and foundations is fundamental to the position. Candidates must be conversant with the international codes and standards for structural analysis and design, and to be familiar with proprietary structural design software, including ETABS, SAFE and SAP.
• Quantity Surveyors (B.Sc.)
Minimum 5 years experience. Experienced in measurement and preparation of bills of quantities from architectural and engineering design drawings for major building projects. Knowledge of cost estimating, tender evaluation and post-contract Q.S. services preferred.
Interviews will be conducted via video conferencing ASAP and the successful applicants will be required to relocate and start work by 1st February 2010.
